Sunflower seeds brought to you by: Gabriola Elementary School and PHC

Our elementary school students were hard at work this past fall in their gardening program with their collaborator People for a Healthy Community. Sunflower seeds were saved in great numbers! This Spring students packed up the seeds and donated to both seed libraries on the Island – the Public Library who graciously made a display so they are easy to find and also the seed library located on the Commons Property attached to the timber frame structure. Seed libraries are free to use – take some seeds and grow some flowers! If you have extra seeds you don’t need both libraries appreciate donations.
