PJ Rocket Surgeons
The duo ‘PJ Rocket Surgeons’ (PJ = Phil and Jake) perform some of the most popular songs from the period of the 1960s through to the 1980s. They have been playing together for some years, and have been performing as a duo in public settings for about a year. Both sing and play guitar.
Originally from Squamish, Phil Owen has been a resident of Gabriola since 1997. He has performed since the mid-1960s in bands in both Canada and England. Jake Galbraith started working as a performing musician in the early 1960s. He immigrated from the USA to Canada in 1970, and since then he has performed in seven provinces and four US states. He has resided on Gabriola since 2008.
