About Doug Harrision: I grew up in a Rail Road Logging Camp in the Alberni Valley. Trained at U.B.C. as a Forestry Engineer and spent my entire career managing ( 40 years) large logging operations for the MacMillan Bloedel Company. Retired 25 years ago and lived on Gabriola since that time. Also enjoyed sailing and fishing along the entire B.C.Coast.Took up artwork and painting coastal subjects many years ago."
