Living Life to the Full - Youth

Living Life to the Full for Youth is a fun, interactive course that will leave youth with the inspiration and tools to get the most out of life. Offered as part of the Blue Wave youth mental health program, this course has been shown to improve mood and well-being and reduce stress and anxiety. Living Life to the Full for Youth is an eight-week community-based course that provides simple, practical skills for coping with stress, problem solving, boosting your mood, and busting bad thoughts. Adapted from the adult course, the course is designed for youth ages 13-18. Mondays October 16 - December 2, 2023, 4:00 - 5:30 pm Please register early to secure your space.

Living Life to the Full - Adult

Want to know how to feel happier, more confident and worry less right now? Would you like to learn new ways of dealing with life’s challenges? Living Life to the Full is a fun, interactive course that will leave you with the inspiration and tools to get the most out of life! This 8-week community-based course provides simple, practical skills for coping with stress, problem solving, boosting your mood, and busting bad thoughts. Living Life to the Full certified facilitators present a new topic at each weekly class, bringing the skills to life though booklets, worksheets, group activities and discussions. Psychological First Aid

Self-Care and Caring for Others. The courses are about taking care of yourself – your thoughts, feelings, and emotions – and then being there for others when they are having difficulty coping. These courses equip learners with the skillset to practice self-care and provide care for others during times of stress, crisis or trauma. We suggest completing both for a well-rounded approach to psychological first aid. Each course takes up to 90 minutes to complete and is self-paced. At the end, learners will receive an electronic certificate of completion. Both courses are available in English or French. Both courses are available to your staff and volunteers.
