People for a Healthy Community Appoints Christina Rajsic as New Executive Director

Gabriola Island, BC – March 31, 2025 – People for a Healthy Community (PHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Rajsic as our new Executive Director, effective April 22, 2025. Ms. Rajsic brings over two decades of experience in healthcare and health promotion, having held various leadership roles in public health organizations.
Ms. Rajsic has held significant positions including Director of Operations at the BC Centre for Disease Control and Director of Program Standards and Health Promotion at the Brant County Health Unit, where she demonstrated her commitment to improving community health outcomes. Her extensive experience working with diverse populations and communities, coupled with her developed leadership skills, align seamlessly with PHC's mission to support residents of Gabriola, Mudge, and DeCourcy Islands throughout their lives, particularly during vulnerable times.
