If you’re a registered post-secondary student or a recent graduate, you can help your community by volunteering with a local organization. In recognition for your service, you can receive a grant of between $1,000 and $5,000.

- Office Reception Assistant
4-10 hrs weekly.

All Canadian students and recent graduates who meet the eligibility criteria can receive the Grant for volunteering between June 25th and October 31st, 2020.
Food Program Assistant
Support the Food Program team by assisting in the garden, food bank grocery box program, and the community food recovery program. You will be involved in garden tasks, food handling, storage, and packing. Some data collection and reporting is required and you will be working both individually and in a team.
Seniors Activities Program Assistant
Join a small team of staff and volunteers supporting frail isolated seniors. You will be involved in meal preparation, activity coordination, technology support, exercise and special activities. You will assist with those who need help on and off the bus, engage seniors in conversation. Some data collection and logistical supports.
Office Reception Assistant during COVID-19
Work with PHC teams to assist with answering phone, photo copying, greeting participants, promoting COVID-19 protocols, data collection, media support and program logistics
